AMP Music to be features in an all star Feature Film Project
We are excited to announce that our music might be featured in an all star production, composed of some of the brightest behind the camera stars. The Chief Animator for the project was behind such wonderful animation as Spiderman and Toy Story, the Writer was one of the writers for Shrek, one of the projects producers financed Dirty Dancing and Saturday Night Fever among many other films in a partnership with a major studio. We are all excited as we might be able to attract some of the greatest composers of our time - including Michael Bolton, Elton John and Randy Newman to work on the project under the AMP label.
Michael Bolton's achievements include selling eight top 10 albums, achieving two number one singles on the Billboard charts, and receiving awards from both the American Music Awards and Grammy Awards.
In his four-decade career John has sold more than 250 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. His single "Candle in the Wind 1997" has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, and is the best selling single in Billboard history. He has more than 50 Top 40 hits, including seven consecutive No. 1 US albums, 56 Top 40 singles, 16 Top 10, four No. 2 hits, and nine No. 1 hits. He has won six Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Tony Award. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him Number 49 on its list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.
Newman has been nominated for twenty Academy Awards, winning twice. He has also won three Emmys, five Grammy Awards, and the Governor's Award from the Recording Academy. Newman was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002. In 2007, Newman was inducted as a Disney Legend.
If Disney ends up being one of the partners on the project as we hope it will be - then this will bring AMP into the limelight - and will allow us to expand into other areas of music and song writing as well.

Impossible Job Search - Horrible Experience - for Film & TV Music
We are hiring creative people to write and compose Music and songs for our partners, clients and investors Film and Television projects. What a Horrible experience it must be for those in the field in Alaska - we looked up the Monster.com resource - http://jobsearch.monster.com/Alaska+Broadcasting-Music-Film_13?sf=18.317 and there are only three jobs available in the whole state. No wonder the youth is leaving - going to New York, LA and other locations where jobs are a plenty. We hope to change all that - but it will obviously take time - possibly years. Perhaps if they see 300 of these high paying jobs or more on these search sites - many of them will change their minds and wont leave - and many perhaps will come back.
Did you Know?
Lennon first wore his famed round eyeglasses during the shooting for the film "How I Won The War" where he had a cameo role. It was believed that while in-between shoots, he was writing a song later to be known as "Strawberry Fields Forever."
Recent Developments
Being able to snatch up this project can mean hundreds of new employees for Alaska Music Publishing Corporation. AMP is currently in negotiations to sign a deal on a new "Twilight" meets "The Beatles" project - that has a number of projects associated with it - and might have Disney behind it. The total deal in discussion - has a minimum of 300 songs associated with it - and hours of music - which includes songs and music for the TV Series, songs and music for the three motion pictures as well as music and songs for the animated film.
Lets keep our fingers crossed. This would make it one of the largest music production deals in the North West.

Alaska Music Publishing Corporation's connection with the Beatles'
One of the people behind Alaska Music Publishing - was also behind music and film production for one of the most popular bands of all times the Beatles. They have worked together on many projects - including the Beatles' movie "A Hard Day's Night". Record producer George Martin and Road Managers Neill Aspinall and Mal Evans always looked for better ways to promote the band - and the music - and it is believed that they have virtually created music videos in the way we know them today.
Alaska Music Publishing Corporation will proudly carry the flag - and hopes to write many new songs - to reach number one on the charts by marketing its music and songs in films and in Television programming.
